Ballet BC's artistic director Emily Molnar has been named sessional artistic director of Dance at The Banff Centre. 

The newly created position is designed to guide and inform all Banff Centre dance initiatives throughout the year in collaboration with the dance community, including programs, partnerships, commissions, residencies, workshops, and other forms of professional development.

Remembering Bruce Ward

Bruce Ward was a friend and mentor to many in Vancouver’s theatre, film and television industries for over 25 years. He was a pioneer and one of the city’s first agents when Vancouver was in its fledging days of becoming “Hollywood North”, and he was an early advocate for the expanding theatre scene in the 1980’s and 90’s.     

Sadly, Bruce passed away early last month after a valiant battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
