Programming & Collections Assistant
/ORGANIZATION:
Roedde House Museum
DEADLINE:
Aug. 15, 2025
ORGANIZATION DESCRIPTION:
Roedde House Museum, located in Vancouver's West End, is a late-Victorian heritage house in the Queen Anne revival style. Built in 1893 for the family of Gustav Roedde, the city’s first bookbinder, the house has been restored to reflect the daily life of a middle-class immigrant family at the turn of the 20th century. Since its official opening in May 1990, the Roedde House Preservation Society has operated the Museum as a threefold facility: a museum with guided tours and a robust schools program, a venue for music and cultural events, and a rental space for small receptions.
