The Port Moody Arts Centre Society is a not-for-profit community arts organization located in the City of the Arts. We create inclusive and meaningful art experiences through education, exhibitions, and outreach. Run primarily by artists and supported by a vibrant network of volunteers, donors, and community partners, we offer a wide range of visual, performing, ceramic, and media arts programming for people of all ages and skill levels.

Volunteer Opportunity Description:

Art Out Side is an annual multidisciplinary arts festival taking place August 7–16, 2026, curated by PoMoArts.

Local artists will transform Port Moody with immersive art forms: from parks and streets to commercial sites, waterfronts, and other everyday or overlooked spaces, creating unforgettable experiences and leaving creative marks that will inspire for years to come.

Want to be part of the magic behind the scenes? We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help the festival run smoothly. It is a great opportunity to gain festival experience, meet artists and community members, and contribute to a vibrant city-wide celebration of art in public spaces.

Responsibilities:

- Audience coordination, ushering, guiding visitors between events
- Distributing promotional materials
- Signage placing and removing
- Supporting artists during installation and take-down
- Supporting daily operations, making sure events run smoothly and organized
