artSpacific: Annual BC Wide Art Competition

Organization Description:
artSpacific is the Langley Arts Council's special annual BC-wide juried exhibition, with over 40 artists, 70 artworks, and 1,000 website viewers annually. This year, our distinguished panel of Jurors will be awarding $2,600 worth of cash prizes to the Best in Show category winners!

We are inviting all 2D and 3D artists to submit their work for consideration. This exhibition has no theme, all subject matter is welcome.

Qualifications:
Artist Eligibility

• This exhibition is open to artists who reside in B.C. Canada.

• Artists do not need to be members of the Langley Arts Council to apply.

• Artists must be 18+ to apply to this call.

Remuneration:
Awards
All accepted artworks will be considered for the Best in Show prizes. This year, the Jury will be responsible for awarding First, Second, and Third place for the 2D and 3D categories. The awards will be announced at the Awards Ceremony, which will take place at the Opening Reception.

2D Artwork Category Prizes:

• First Place - $600

• Second Place - $400

• Third Place - $300

3D Artwork Category Prizes:

• First Place - $600

• Second Place - $400

• Third Place - $300

Application Fee:

• 1 Artwork = $17

• 2 Artworks = $27

• 3 Artworks = $37
