JOB DESCRIPTION:
Mitch and Murray Productions is proud to present ACTING ATYPICAL, a foundational exploration of acting for teens and adults on the autism spectrum. We are seeking a part-time Outreach Coordinator to support this program, created and hosted by Artistic Director Aaron Craven.
Acting Atypical takes place in a supportive and sensory-friendly environment, introducing participants to acting through improv, scripted on-camera work, and conversation about the wonderful world of performing. The goal is to build social and emotional tools, explore the craft, and have fun.
The focus of this role is outreach to participants, schools, and autism-focused community groups across the Lower Mainland.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct outreach to schools, post-secondary programs, and community organizations
• Connect with autism-focused groups, educators, and support networks
• Support promotion, registration, and participant engagement
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with participants and families
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in outreach, community engagement, or arts administration
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Familiarity with autism and sensory-friendly programming
• Interest in arts education and community-building
