Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Interim Managing Director, the Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for festival volunteer coordination activities, as well as box office and donation support.
You will provide support to PuSh Operations and act as an advocate of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival Society to arts & culture professionals, various stakeholders, and the community at large.
Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with all departments to determine and execute volunteer requirements for the Festival, which includes volunteer stewardship initiatives
Recruit, schedule, train, and supervise all Festival volunteers, including “special groups” such as venue representatives, drivers, and board members
Organize and approve volunteer applications as they are received
Organize and execute volunteer training sessions
Organize and execute a volunteer appreciation event
Manage, fulfill and distribute volunteer benefits and welcome packs, including tickets, t-shirts, and identification badges
Maintain thorough and accurate volunteer records in festival management software (Better Impact) and CRM system (Spektrix)
Schedule volunteers shifts in festival management software
Act as the manager to volunteers at festival venues
Provide excellent customer service to PuSh supporters and patrons.
Assist the Patron Services and Administration Manager with the development and implementation of Box Office and FOH policies
Determine FOH personnel plans in collaboration with the Patron Services and Administration Manager, Festival Producer, and Accessible PuSh Coordinaton
Act as the PuSh point of contact for venue volunteers and venue staff onsite at shows
Ensure all patron information is accurately entered in the database.
Bring any customer concerns forward to the Patron Services and Administration Manager as soon as possible
Assist with the processing of complimentary ticket requests
Work with Patron Services and Administration Manager to collect and record statistics for each Festival event
Ensure the highest possible level of customer service in all box office transactions
Attend regular production meetings of staff & contractors as called by the Collaborative Leadership Team
Support the efforts of the Society and other Society personnel as necessary
Write a final report and timeline of volunteer management activities
Other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:

Must be able and willing to work hours as required by the festival, including weekends and evenings
Candidates Experience:
Experience in volunteer management or coordination
Exceptional Candidates will have:
Experience in volunteer management in the live arts
Experience with Better Impact
Experience with Spektrix database and ticketing system
Intermediate knowledge of Google Suite
Supervisory experience in volunteer management or patron services
Experience in event management
Comfort with Mac computers

Remuneration:
$9000 (300-360 hours)
