Job Description:

Hello! Arrieta Art is a small, artist-run studio in New Westminster looking for a creative student to help increase awareness of the studio through social media and short-form videos (or other marketing methods)

I’m looking for someone who can come up with their own ideas, film/edit short videos, and experiment with creative marketing rather than needing lots of direction.

You must currently be a student (a plus if you are an art/marketing student)
Creative and comfortable with social media/video
Able to work independently
Interested in art, design, or creative spaces

Hours: Approx 10-15 paid hours per month. This is a very small business with a limited budget, so the hours are intentionally limited.

The hours can be done in a hybrid method - meaning you can work from home! However, you should be able to meet at the studio in New West from time to time.

Great opportunity for a student looking to build their creative portfolio and get hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

What you’ll do:

Create short-form videos for social media
Develop creative content ideas
Help showcase the studio, artwork, events, and behind-the-scenes moments
Experiment with ways to grow awareness of Arrieta Art

Qualifications:

Personal and/or professional experience using editing software, google sheets/docs, social media and being a quick learner

How to Apply:

*Since this is a casual job, I prefer a casual application; no cover letters or long portfolios please :) *

A link to a social media page you've worked on, personal or otherwise.
A simple resume.

Remuneration:

18.25-20
