Located next to the historic Gastown. The Gallery is housed in a beautiful building filled with artist studios where many of our artists carry out their art practices.

Volunteer Opportunity Description:

Would you like to learn about curating, handling art and how a gallery runs? Would you like to be involved in the art scene, meet our artists and be a part of what they create? Would you like to help connect art & community? Would you like to see how much fun you can have helping at our Art Markets & Pop-Ups?

We are seeking art gallery volunteers to help in a variety of events & projects which are artist & guest facing as well as behind the scenes.

Responsibilities:

Assist in hanging & taking down monthly exhibitions
Exhibition Opening Receptions
Special Events - on site / off site pop-ups & art markets
Fun local gallery promotions
Some administration work if applicable.

Qualifications:

An appreciation for art, bonus if you have an art education or experience. Personable with our artists and guests during Opening Receptions, bonus if you have hospitality experience and your Serving It Right. Careful handling art work with an attention to detail, bonus if you have had experience in this area. Also seeking help with admin & marketing if this is an expertise of yours.
