The Gallery George showcases local established and emerging painters, designers, photographers, sculptors, and more. Located next to historic Gastown, the gallery is housed in a beautiful building filled with artist studios where many of our artists carry out their art practices.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION:
Would you like to learn about curating, handling art, and how a gallery runs? Would you like to be involved in the art scene, meet our artists, and be part of what they create? Would you like to help connect art and community? We are seeking art gallery volunteers to help with a variety of events and projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support monthly exhibitions

• Assist with opening receptions

• Support special events

QUALIFICATIONS:

• An appreciation for art

• An ability to be personable with artists and guests during opening receptions
