Our fine art services include restoration & conservation, custom framing, professional on-site installation, transportation, art storage, and removal of art damaged by fire & flood. JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an energetic, organized individual to fill an admin/studio assistant position. This is a dynamic “all-around” role that includes administrative, customer service, and hands-on studio duties. Computer, typing, and math skills are a must. Previous experience in the fine arts or related field is a bonus, but not required. If you think you are the right fit, we would love to meet you!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate estimates / data entry

  • Costing of frame orders

  • Ordering materials

  • General office admin duties including customer service, payments, and scheduling

  • Assist with general studio production including basic framing

  • Art handling and documentation

  • Basic tool use

  • General studio organization and cleaning

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong computer skills using Mac (Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Google Docs)

  • Fluent in English, spoken and written

  • Excellent visual and manual skills

  • Solid basic math skills

  • Strong familiarity with imperial measurements

  • Capacity to work quickly and efficiently with awareness of proper art handling

  • Good communication skills, able to work with a varied client base and studio team

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 20kg
