The Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA) is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting visual artists at all stages of their careers. Through exhibitions, education, and community initiatives, the FCA fosters a vibrant and inclusive arts community across Canada.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
The FCA Community Arts Exchange is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to support a series of in-person, low-cost or by-donation art events designed to bring artists and the community together. Volunteers will play a key role in creating welcoming, engaging experiences for participants. As the program grows, opportunities to assist with hybrid and remote programming will also become available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with event setup and takedown

• Welcome and check in participants

• Support workshops, activities, and facilitators

• Provide general event support and answer questions

• Assist with basic documentation (photos, attendance, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interest in arts and community engagement

• Friendly, reliable, and organized

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Previous event or volunteer experience is an asset but not required

• Must be 19 years or older
