Our clients range from 4 years old to adults, from ESL speakers to politicians, from beginners to experienced actors and performers. We are based in Vancouver, with clients around the world.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We seek qualified individuals to coach children and adults in voice, speech, and drama. We work both online and in-person, primarily in our West Vancouver studio and our Vancouver location. We also host workshops in workplaces and schools across the Lower Mainland. In this role, you will help individuals of all ages become confident and effective speakers and performers. You will help them develop self-awareness, focus, clarity of thought, imagination, and empathy—using their body, voice, mind, and emotion to speak with impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and teach the areas of study listed below, using the curriculum and resources provided, along with your own expertise and ideas, to best meet client needs.
Teach both adults and children at various skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
Prepare interested students for graded examinations in Speech, Drama, and Communication Skills.
Co-plan and co-lead three end-of-term workshops each year.
Communicate with parents regarding their child’s progress.
Facilitate workshops in schools and businesses throughout the Lower Mainland.
Respond to student phone calls and emails promptly.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date client notes.
Participate in weekly staff meetings and professional development events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Theatre, Performance, Voice, Communication, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching or coaching both children and adults
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional and positive attitude
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong problem-solving and listening skills
Experience with RCM and Trinity syllabi is an asset
