Boca del Lupo has a foundation in theatre but has evolved into a multi-disciplinary company often partnering with artists and organizations that are beyond the conventional boundaries of our form. Collaboration is the core tenet of our creativity. Working across cultures and disciplines, our productions are energized by the collision and confluence of difference. Since our inception in 1996, our artistic focus has been one that explores cultural hybridity and interdisciplinarity through consciously convening artists from diverse backgrounds. We have toured extensively nationally and internationally, a strong level of engagement with our professional arts services organizations, and meaningful outreach into the community. Focusing on expanding creative possibilities through innovation and collaboration, we have a repertoire that includes 60 original creations and unique presentations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The long-time home of Boca del Lupo, Granville Island is a major artistic hub within Vancouver. It holds Boca del Lupo’s unique rehearsal/presentation studio, The Fishbowl, and is also the centre of Boca’s Micro Performance Series, partnering with festivals across the city to present intimate, immersive performances and experiences. Boca del Lupo presents four MPS shows each year in January, March, May, and July, as well as Space Residencies in the months of February, April, and June.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event planning, curatorial support, and production coordination for the Micro Performance Series and the Fishbowl Residency program
Contracting and contract fulfillment with co-presenting organizations, sponsors, supporters, and artists
Production coordination in conjunction with Boca’s Technology Director and Associate Producer
Facilitation and organization of artist intakes and applications
Additional duties related to the Micro Performance Series as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
Eye for collaboration and coordination with partner festivals of Boca’s presentation series
Proven ability to plan and execute fruitful collaborations
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Experience in artistic leadership, curatorial work, or production coordination preferred

REMUNERATION:
This is a part-time position from January 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026 with an hourly rate of $33/h for an estimated 300 hours over 7 months, for a total remuneration of roughly $10,000.
